20-minute subscription audit timer
Check your subscriptions in 20 minutes: find the charges, check and decide, then save the confirmations.
**5 minutes: find charges.** Go through recent bank and card statements, your app store’s subscriptions page and email receipts. Look up unfamiliar merchant names before treating them as something to cancel.
**10 minutes: check and decide.** Look at usage, renewal dates and who actually bills you, and check cancellation terms where you are billed (app store or website).
**5 minutes: wrap up.** Save cancellation confirmations and list anything unresolved.
Decisions about accounts and payments deserve care. Pause the timer whenever you need to.

Questions
Does deleting the app stop the charges?
No. Cancel where you are billed: in the app store for app-store subscriptions, on the website for ones you paid there.
Will I get my money back if I cancel?
Not necessarily. Cancelling and refunds are separate; the service’s terms decide.
How often should I check?
Once a quarter is usually enough. For subscriptions you keep, set a reminder before the next renewal.
