Gaokao 2027 countdown
Since 2003 the Gaokao has begun on 7 June. The countdown runs to 9:00 Beijing time on 7 June 2027.
Counting down to: June 7, 2027 09:00 (Asia/Shanghai time)
The national papers are taken on 7 and 8 June; in many provinces further subjects follow on the next days. The Ministry of Education confirms each year's dates in the spring. Dates follow the official announcement; if the schedule changes, the official notice is what counts.
