Dates vary, so add due dates once you know your moving day. Most items are short; batch a few into one focus round.

A month before 3
- Confirm moving date and book help or a van
- Sort belongings: keep, donate, sell, recycle
- Collect boxes, tape and markers
The week before 3
- Update address with bank, work and deliveries
- Arrange utilities and internet at the new place
- Pack one 'first night' box: chargers, toiletries, bedding
After the move 3
- Take meter readings and photos
- Unpack kitchen and bedroom first
- Return keys and confirm the deposit
